About me

My name is Anna. I live in Berlin.

People usually want a clear explanation of what I do. I never quite know what to tell them, because it depends on who they are. It’s different every time, and that’s the only part I’m sure about.

I work with desire, I suppose. Or with the things that don’t quite fit into ordinary conversation. The ones people hesitate over, or quietly return to later.

I notice things. That’s most of it.

The way someone pauses before saying something. The things they almost say and then leave unsaid. It’s usually more interesting than anything prepared in advance.

Nothing really starts until both people stop pretending a little. Someone has to be the one who sees it first.

After that, it becomes something shared. Not exactly planned, not entirely accidental either. Just something that takes shape, if you let it — and if you’re willing to follow it a little further than you usually would.

I tend to know when to push and when to wait. That part matters more than people expect.

I like it when it feels real.
